Yikes! Almost a six month break from blogging, and I've managed to find a little bit of motivation to carry on with it. It has been mixture of university work being priority and generally not having the desire to blog. I will be throwing myself back into it once I've graduated (eek!) with a blog re-vamp to follow, but for now, I just wanted to show my face. It's nice to see that I've changed a fair bit in comparison to my older posts. My out of control hair being the focus!

All black everythang, high neck and simple jewellery has been my staple, I really don't know what life was like without a wardrobe full of polo neck jumpers, and this coat. This. Coat. I think I'd sleep in it if it were acceptable to do so.
Home has been brief but it's been good to have a little bit of R&R before the craziness of degree show work and planning kicks in full swing. Not sure when I'll be posting next but keep up to date with my goings on, on Instagram - you know the drill.

August was a month of wearing a lot of black and my Topshop JONI jeans, so logically as September rolls in, I begin to wear more colour! I've been reminiscing about my time in Norway and I felt like this outfit was a nod in the right direction with the nautical environment I've been craving. This dress is something I picked up in my local charity shop and I just love the big vintage obnoxious collar!

I've been feeling so unmotivated with my blog again, due to lack of confidence or whatever, but I'm hoping to push through that and get back into it with positive thinking!

Don't be fooled by the title ladies, there won't be a feminist rant here! This is just another outfit that I've worn a lot at home, and whilst I was away on the cruise, there was the addition of a petticoat, or underskirt for more modern terminology! Before purchasing, I thought twice as I didn't think I'd get much wear out of it, but I'm so glad I did, as it instantly adds that authentic, 1950's glamour I've been after with my midi skirts and dresses! My Bardot crop and gingham midi combo transforms from everyday to formal with the underskirt and I love it!

After a momentary panic seeing the frizz I'd created by brushing my poodle-like rag curls out from the night before, I saved my 'do with heated rollers and the result turned out A-OK! If I could somehow of tamed the ends of my hair once I'd brushed it, I would of been happy as it was very Rita Hayworth-esque! Although, practice makes perfect! With MAC Lady Danger on my lips this monochrome outfit was good to go!
